Optics and Photonics days postponed to December 2021
The Optics and Photonics Days is an annual central event in the fields of Optics and Photonics in Finland. The 2021 event has been postponed and the plan is to organise the event in Turku December 1-3, 2021.
All the registrations for the event have been moved automatically to the new date.
The Optics and Photonics days deliver the latest findings and research results performed within the Academy and Industry. The event is designed for matchmaking and networking of academy researchers and companies representatives for finding common interests, partners for collaboration, invest in opportunities.
The Optics and Photonics Days academic conference program consists of submitted contributions as well as invited talks, plenary speakers, panel discussions and other related activity. The industrial program does not have submitted contributions but the industrial program committee organizes the industrial session independently. Academic sessions include oral presentations and poster presentations for which you may submit your abstract for review by the program committee and additional expert reviewers. The Annual PREIN Meeting
The annual PREIN meeting is organised adjacent to the Optics and Photonics days. The event will gather together all the PREIN researchers to share the results of the first two years in the flagship programme in research, education, outreach, and impact. The event is free of charge, but there will be a separate registration for the event.
You can also attend the Annual PREIN Meeting without participating the Optics and Photonics Days.
The Photonics Student Organisation Meeting
The SPIE, OSA and EOS student chapter members in the Finnish Universities are organising a Photonics Student event. The meeting will bring together student organisations in Photonics to increase their collaboration. All photonics student are also welcome join in to learn more about the activities arranged by the Student Chapters.
The organisers of the event are following the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare guidelines.
In case of restrictions being placed on events or limits on number of event participant by the authorities all registrants will receive full refund on the paid registrations.
