Throughout the day, you can explore all that the new TestLab Mehtimäki has to offer – from hands-on testing demonstrations and expert talks to inspiring panel discussions, free trial tests, and equipment showcases.

8:00–11:30 – Sports testing and demo sessions
- Elite athletes Mette Baas and Kalle Salminen in testing demonstrations
- Seminar by Miika Köykkä, sports biomechanics expert at KIHU
12:30–14:30 – Learning environment and mobile services
- Keynote by Tommi Vasankari, Director of the UKK Institute
- Panel discussion on mobile sports testing services
14:30–16:00 – Technology, physical activity, and sports
- Keynote by Professor Jyrki Saarinen, University of Eastern Finland
- Panel discussion on the role of technologies in sports
10:00–18:00 – Open showcases and trial sessions
- Mobile services: demonstrations of Baiobit, Optogait, and Blazepod for measuring movement, balance, and reaction capability
- Photonics technology testing: eye-tracking, pose tracking, Galea’s XR headset + sport-specific demos (e.g. archery)
