The 12th edition of the Markus Pessa International Summer School New Frontiers in Optical Technologies will be organized on August 11th – 15th 2025 in Tampere.
We would like to inform you that the registration to the 12th Markus Pessa International Summer School on “New Frontiers in Optical Technologies,” which will be held from August 11–15, 2025, at Tampere University, Finland is open. Founded in 2001, the Summer School has become a leading educational event in the field of modern optical technologies, attracting over 120 participants each edition. Since 2023, the School has been dedicated to the memory of Professor Markus Pessa, founder of the Optoelectronics Research Centre in Tampere, honoring his profound contributions to the optics and photonics community.
This year’s program will delve into cutting-edge topics including:
