The Innovative doctoral Education Ecosystem for Photonics includes all Finnish universities with research activities in light-based technologies, Tampere University, University of Eastern Finland, Aalto University, Åbo Akademi, University of Oulu, University of Jyväskylä, and University of Turku. We have 72 new doctoral researchers in different thematic areas related to photonics starting their studies in 2024 and 2025.
We are looking for companies to collaborate with the doctoral pilot in:
- research collaboration
- co-supervision of theses
- mentoring
- industry internships and placements
- being a member of the Industrial Advisory Board
- finding potential employees to recruit upon graduation
- participating in I-DEEP thematic events
You can find the most suitable collaboration partners based on university, location or research themes.
