Join us for an engaging afternoon where doctoral researchers, supervisors, professors, and industry leaders come together to forge valuable connections. This networking event is designed to enhance collaboration and create opportunities for doctoral researchers to transition seamlessly from academia to industry roles.

For Companies: Discover and connect with the next generation of talented professionals driving innovation in photonics, microelectronics, and quantum technologies. Present the opportunities your company offers for PhDs.

For Doctoral Researchers: As you embark on your doctoral journey, connecting with industry leaders early on can provide you with insights that enrich your research and pave the way for a successful career in the industry post-graduation. In the event you will connect with industry leaders and discover relevant companies linked to your field.

For Supervisors: Support your doctoral researchers by facilitating connections with relevant industry partners. By fostering these collaborations, you contribute to the success of the doctoral education pilots and strengthen the case for continued government funding. The matchmaking can also increase industry and university collaboration.

The 2024 Industry Connect Matchmaking event is hosted by the Photonics Doctoral Pilot I-DEEP and jointly organised by Technology Industries Semiconductor Branch Group and the Microelectronics and Quantum doctoral pilots.
