New Year will be celebrated at Joensuu Market Square on Wednesday, 31 December.
Welcome to the most magical evening of the year! PREIN – Photonics Research and Innovation Flagship is helping to make possible the Dancing Waters water-and-light show, which will bring an impressive combination of light, color, and music to the square throughout the evening. Colorful water jets, perfectly synchronized to music, create an unforgettable experience for the whole family. Dancing Waters performances at 6:15 pm, 7:00 pm, 8:00 pm, and 9:00 pm (duration approx. 10 minutes).
The New Year’s celebration opens at 6:00 pm with a circus performance that sets the mood for the coming year.
Schedule:
New Year’s celebration: 6:00–6:30 pm
Dancing Waters performances at 6:15 pm, 7:00 pm, 8:00 pm, and 9:00 pm (duration approx. 10 minutes)
Note: Circus artists perform only during the celebration starting at 6:00 pm.
