WP3 workshop: On-Chip Photonics for Sensing
This complimentary PREIN workshop addresses the research, development, and use of different chip-scale photonics technologies for sensing applications. Examples of such technologies include, but are not limited to: laser chips, other chip-scale light sources, photonic integrated circuits (PICs), optical waveguide components, optical MEMS chips, optical detector chips and wafer-level manufacturing and testing of diffractive optics. Present and future applications for these technologies include lidars, wearable sensors, medical imaging, industrial process metrology, hyperspectral imaging, inertial sensors and many more. This workshop is organized by PREIN WP3 (Advanced Photonic Components), but presentations and attendees are not limited to WP3 or to the PREIN consortium. All who study or work in the field of the workshop are welcome to attend.
