Markus Pessa International Summer School “New Frontiers in Optical Technologies” in conjunction with NETLAS Conference.
The summer school will be held at Tampere University (TAU) , Hervanta Campus. The campus is located in Hervanta which is a suburb of the city located about 8 km south of Tampere city centre.
General information
The International Summer School New Frontiers in Optical Technologies was established in 2001. The 11th edition organized in August 7 – 11, 2023 marks a name change to “Markus Pessa International Summer School New Frontiers in Optical Technologies” – a tribute to the memory of the late Prof. Markus Pessa, the founder of the Optoelectronics Reserch Centre in Tampere and the pioneer of optoelectronics and semiconductor laser technology in Finland.
